Yard numbers from 21 to 60 should park in the new car park closest to the yards. If you have booked a stable please park directly in front of the stable block. All other competitors wishing to tie their horses to their floats should park in the far car park by the far arena. Please park sensibly with other people in mind. Thank You

  • This Clinic starts at the very basics of foundational understanding and communicating with horses. Ben teaches around the country and participants love his knowledgable and quiet approach to teaching them. Where leaving egos behind and focusing on the horse results in true progress and a great learning environment.   • Murray Haitana of Central Horsemanship specialises in coaching horses and riders of all disciplines for a stronger partnership.

  • Dani has competed at Grand Prix and World Cup level and has worked and trained with a number of top international riders such as Australian Coach of the Year, David Finch; Australian Olympian, Jamie Coman; and in Germany with Tim and Helena Stormanns.

    Dani holds jumping clinics all over New Zealand in both the North and South Island for all age groups and levels.
    Lessons include a combination of flatwork, gridwork and jumping.

    Indiviual lessons: 45 mins $90 arena fees included

    Group Lessons of up to 3 for 1 hour $65 arena fees included

  • Our facilities are available for hire 7 days a week when we are not running our own shows and events, please check the Event Calendar to see what dates are available.

    There is a secure payments box for casual users located in the outdoor bay by the stables, we can only accept cash into this box and it is monitored by a security camera.

    When hiring 1 of our arenas for your event, they come with a limited number of car parks for truck and floats, so please check with us before booking that you do not require additional parking. There is ample car parking for spectators. 

    Private hire of whole facility

    $1100 per day on weekends and Public holidays

    $900 per day Monday to Friday

    Hire includes all 3 arenas for your clinic or event, use of day yards and all 76 float and truck parks. Stabling and use of Café facilities can be arranged at an additional cost.

  • Frankie Webb, a Dressage New Zealand Gold Incentive award holder, is  available for individual or semi private tuition offering a training system catering for riders of all levels up to International FEI level.

    Competing at FEI level since 1982, she has also served almost 30 years as a Dressage New Zealand listed judge before retiring last year. Frankie was Manawatu West Coast PC Under 21 dressage coach for 5 years and is comfortable teaching and working with riders at all ages and levels.

    Frankie trains a select number of private pupils competing at National and International level in Eventing and Showjumping as well as dressage.

  • Tielcey Park stables offers secure grazing and access to world class facilities in a friendly atmosphere for you and your equine friends. All grazing options include use of all our facilities except for the stables.

    Grazing Fees

    • $80 per horse per week for a private paddock
    • $110 per horse per week for a stable and a private paddock

    Livery Fees

    • Partial - $150 per week for a stable, private paddock, horse fed and turned out in the mornings with any cover changes required.
    • Full - $200 per horse per week for a stable, private paddock, horse turned out and brought into stable daily and stable cleaned, cover changes, fed twice daily (hay and feed to be provided by owner unless otherwise arranged).

    Casual use of stabling and yards

    • $25 per night for a stable
    • $10 per day for a day yard
    • $15 per night for an overnight yard

  • Catering for riders of all levels, predominately from the Dressage, Showing and Eventing fields, John provides clear, helpful instruction to overcome any challenges you and your horse may be experiencing, and to give you the knowledge and skills to progress to the next level. John is able to coach riders up to Advanced level Dressage.

  • At Tielcey Park, we have plenty to keep the kids occupied!

    Pony Rides

    We have a number of dedicated pony ride days through out the summer where you can come anytime between 10am and 1pm for a pony ride (bookings not required). Pony rides are $15 for approx 10 minutes and afterwards you can enjoy lunch and a coffee from our cafe.

    Pony rides can be arranged on other days for a minimum of 3 childen however bookings are essential.

    Pony Rides are limited to Children aged 12 and under.

     

    Pony Parties

    Your child with love one of our pony parties for their next birthday. Parties consists of pony rides for 1 hour  and the use of the our cafe area for 1 hour with party food provided.

    Parties start from $300 for up to 8 children. 

     

    Kids beginner Lessons

    Your child can have their first start on a horse at Tielcey park and learn the basics for riding whilst gaining confidence and having fun.

    Limited spaces available, bookings essential. $45 for a 30 minute private lesson.

  • Tielcey Park Stables and Events Centre is delighted to be hosting international rider Sean Cubitt's show jumping clinic.
     
    Sean has competed internationally around Europe, ridden for the Ireland team since he was 15 and was the 1st rider for the highly acclaimed Zangersheide stud.
    Sean trained the European pony gold winner and the European young rider gold winner! Visiting New Zealand an a regular basis. Sean is able to train all levels from people learning to jump through to world cup.

    Amazing opportunity to train with an international rider of this calibre!

  • The Clinic includes 2 days of Jumping lessons with a talk on equine nutrition and an informative Pizza evening on Saturday night ( dinner provided), covering Sophies time spent in the USA preparing horses for world cup finals. This includes everything from flying horses to programmes and veterinary management. There will also be a chance to sit down and go through your seasons plans and goals.

  • Welcome to the Equestrian hub of the Manawatu. Tielcey Park is one of the largest equestrian facilities in the lower North Island. We offer an indoor arena, two outdoor arenas (including a full showjumping course), grazing and agistment, stables, yards, a cafe for events, shows, fun days, clinics, lessons, schooling. Set on 32 acres, our facilities are built to international standards, complete with a warm and friendly atmosphere for you and your equine friends.

    Visit for an afternoon to use the arena, spend the weekend for a show, or graze with us full time, we'd love to see you.
